Read these words every day, first thing in the morning when you wake up and before you go to sleep:
- Focusing on always being perfect brings unnecessary stress in my life and can prevent me from reaching my goals. While I put so much attention, time and effort into completing one task perfectly, I may not have enough energy left for my other tasks.
- If I allow my fear to grip me, it will forever hold my life and my family’s life hostage. I must begin to do something about it today!
- When I am in ‘the zone’ it feels like poetry in motion.
- When I ‘let go’ of the negative things in my life, success is around the corner.
- Procrastination – the number one destroyer of success. If I slowly but diligently work on my tasks/goals, I will defeat this weakness of mine and build a better tomorrow.
- Multitasking – a little is good. Too much, and the mind, emotions and physical body may become overloaded, unhealthy and dysfunctional.
- Love should be pleasurable – what am I doing every day to maintain the pleasure in my relationship?
- Time exposes all mediocrity. If I continue to perform at a sub-par level, I risk the chance of being mediocre in front of my peers.
- To tame a lion, one must get into its cage. Until I get into the cage and attempt to tame my own issues—anger, fear, nasty habits, idiosyncrasies, bad attitude—I will always have a wild beast on my hands!
- If in life I always operate with safeguards, I may never realize the depths of my true potential.
